Can you arrange delivery to our site?
We can quote CFR, CIF or DAP to your port or site through our forwarder. DDP is possible in some markets but depends on import formalities, so it is checked case by case. For site delivery, confirm access and unloading facilities - heavy drums need a crane or a forklift of adequate capacity.
What happens if the drums are damaged in transit?
Every drum is photographed and recorded before loading, and loading is lashed and chocked to suit the drum size. If damage occurs, send the photos and the shipping documents immediately so we can support the claim with the carrier and, where the damage originates on our side, arrange replacement or repair.
What tests are carried out on each batch?
Routine tests on every length: conductor DC resistance, insulation resistance, AC high-voltage test (3.5 kV for 5 minutes on 0.6/1 kV cable) and dimensional check of insulation and sheath thickness. Sample tests per batch cover the mechanical properties of insulation and sheath, plus hot-set or shrinkage for XLPE. All results appear on the test certificate.
Can we arrange third-party inspection before shipment?
Yes, and we encourage it. SGS, BV, Intertek, TUV and the other major inspection bodies are familiar with our plant. Please nominate the inspection body and the scope at the order stage so the visit can be booked without delaying the shipment.
What is your acceptance quality level?
Visual and dimensional inspection follows a sampling plan agreed with the customer, commonly AQL 1.0 for major defects and 2.5 for minor defects. If your contract specifies a different AQL or a different sampling standard, state it on the order and we will apply it.
What do you do if the goods do not meet specification?
Send the test report and the details of the non-conformity. We investigate against the retained test records and the sample length kept from the same batch, and respond with a root cause and a corrective action. Where the goods are genuinely non-conforming we replace them or credit them - putting a wrong delivery right costs far less than leaving it wrong.
