FAQ

How do you handle urgent orders?

Tell us the required-on-site date at the enquiry stage. We check material availability and line capacity and, if the date can be met, reserve capacity on confirmation. We would rather decline an impossible date than promise one we cannot keep.

How is the cable packed?

Cable is wound on wooden or steel-wooden drums, with both ends sealed against moisture and the outer end secured to the drum flange. Building wire coils are wrapped in shrink film and packed in cartons or woven bags. Drum size is chosen to suit the delivered length and the container loading.

What drum sizes do you use?

Standard drums run from about 800 mm to 2500 mm flange diameter, with bore and loading capacity matched to the cable weight; heavy MV cable goes on steel-reinforced drums. If your site has a crane limit or a restricted access route, give us the constraint and we will size the drum accordingly.

Can you print our logo and shipping marks on the drum?

Yes. Buyer logos, shipping marks, drum number, net and gross weight, length and cable description are printed on the drum flange to your marking instruction. Send the artwork in vector format and confirm the exact text before production.

How much cable fits in a container?

A 20 ft GP normally takes 18 to 22 tonnes and a 40 ft HQ 22 to 26 tonnes. Cable is limited by weight rather than volume, and drum diameter decides how efficiently the floor space is used. Send the sizes and quantities and we will work out the loading plan and the exact number of containers.

Which port do you ship from?

We normally load at Shenzhen, Guangzhou or Nansha, and can ship from other Chinese ports on request. For CFR and CIF terms, tell us the destination port and we will quote freight and transit time.
